The Apple was happy to announce its new iPod touch in September last year. The new iPod is packed with some of the best features. It is completely redesigned with better features and has a dedicated A4 processor just incase its users run of power. The new iPod is faster, lighter and most importantly sleeker than all its previous versions.

At First Look

When you first stick your eyes on this new iPod touch the first thing you will notice is a small black dot at the top of front side, which is a small camera to capture front side. What is more interesting about iPod is that it has two cameras on either side.

Apple introduced a new kind of feature in its new model, named as FaceTime. It allows you to have real time video calling with a small display of yours at lower right corner. With FaceTime you can also have video sessions with other Apple products such as iPad 2, iPhone 4 and Mac through WiFi. It means that users must have high speed routers for uninterrupted video calling. The application is activated on just a click on friend’s profile saved in your phonebook, and an invitation pops-up on guest’s Apple gadget.

It is also interesting to know that the camera is tuned with face and shoulder, which automatically adjusts its focus for a good view. If this isn’t very impressive to you than Retina Display will blow you away. The new iPod has four times the pixels than its previous model, and images and web pages do not scatter when you zoom in.

Entertainment

The 4^th generation model has HD video recording and streaming, high resolution view with Retina Display, shopping facility over WiFi, edit movies through iMovies and do much more. It has much better resolution on screen of same dimensions.

It also saves iPod’s charge with its intelligent LED lighting system as it automatically adjusts its brightness. The iPod has a high resolution camera at back and a VGA camera in front. You can also enjoy its auto focus feature of camera for optimum result of still shoots and you can directly upload it on Facebook.

Fun Features

If you are still are not impressed, then you better check out its dedicated gaming application, named as Game Center. With this application you can find people on internet and play games with them. The Game Center works with advanced built-in gyroscope paired with accelerometer for better movement sensing, which allows you to experience game from the inside. You can share your score, play multi-player games and do all the things from your imagination.

When you are tired of playing games on 4^th Generation model then you should try the latest addition of AirPlay and its Bluetooth connectivity. You can connect your wireless headphones with Bluetooth so you can move freely. Connect your iPod with the same network of WiFi to Apple HDTV, and share your stuff any time your want.
